Chilling Biden Quote From 1974 Emerges; "Politicians Can Take Away 1st Amendment If We Want"

A shocking statement made by Joe Biden in 1974 has recently been uncovered. While talking to the Washingtonian in June of 1974, Biden who was 31 at the time, told reporter Kitty Kelley that powerful politicians like himself had the power to take away constitutional rights.

“I am proud to be a politician,” said at the time to Kelley. “There is no other walk of life which can do more good for mankind than politics. It influences everything that happens to the American people.”

According to Kelley, Biden then leaned “over his desk to shake his finger at me” as he said that elected politicians like himself had the capability to “take away” constitutionally rights if they wanted to.

“And, whether you like it or not, young lady,” Biden said. “Us cruddy politicians can take away that First Amendment of yours if we want to.”

During the same interview, Biden shockingly stated that many of his views were conservative ones including his view of abortion. Biden has since reversed his opinion on the matter.

“My wife said I was the most socially conservative man she had ever known… when it comes to issues like abortion… I’m about as liberal as your grandmother,” Biden said. “I don’t like the Supreme Court decision on abortion. I think it went too far. I don’t think that a woman has the sole right to say what should happen to her body.”

Biden has had a history of making many appalling comments. Just a year before this comment was made to Kelley, during an address to the City Club of Cleveland, Ohio, Biden lectured the crowd about what “was good for the Negro."

“We spend a lot of time talking about the United States being a melting pot, well that’s true, but quite frankly I think it’s overrated,” Biden said at the time. “We’ve been able to move forward because of politics. In my opinion, politics need not necessarily be a dirty word.”

Biden then went on to claim that politicians like him are more beneficial to society than doctors, lawyers or “Indian chiefs.”

“Politics should be the most honorable of professions,” he stated. “Those of you who are doctors and lawyers and Indian chiefs in the audience, how can any of you possibly do as much good, if you are very good at what you do, as I can do if I am very good at what I can do?”

‘You can’t,” Biden added. “So the point is, this is where the action is.”

He wasn't done.

“I for one also take great offense, at 30-years-old achieving a life’s ambition, to seek the highest elective office, with one exception, in the land and the prestige of that office,” Biden noted. “To now be put in the perilous position of being labeled as a ‘thief’ or a ‘crook’ as the rest of those politicians.”

 

I literally had to laugh again because in response to Biden's speech Sarah Sanders said Biden let Russia interfere in our election.

Are you sure you want to go there Trump supporters since Trump and his campaign colluded with Putin and Russia to do it. And Mitch McConnell and the Republicans tried to stop President Obama from warning the American people about it.

One of the big stories right now is how Trump lost it on the WH lawn again in what is being called a fit of psychological projection trying to cast his own mental illness onto Biden.

Even Fox News is stunned by it.

 

A heckler interrupted Biden's speech and when the crowd started to get upset Biden calmed them down saying "let him go this isn't a Trump rally." And then after everyone calmed down Biden promised the heckler that if he wanted to Biden would sit down with him and answer any questions or concerns he had.
