Amid the news of Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce, an old X post from the cricketer’s account has gone viral. In a post from 2013, Yuzvendra wrote that marriage is only a fancy term for when a woman assumes responsibility for a man-child who cannot be handled by his mother anymore. The post read, “MARRIAGE is just a fancy word for adopting an over-grown male child who can’t be handled by his parents anymore." While News18 couldn’t independently verify the post, a screenshot of the same has been making rounds on social media.
